SUHOJA n°0 – The Alliance of Wood and Time

Before time was measured, there was breath.

Suhoja n°0 embodies this intention: the alliance of the living and the metal, of gesture and connection.

Conceived within Maison Nunchi, Suhoja n°0 is envisioned as the meeting of two sacred arts:
Mokjogakjang — the ancestral Korean art of wood carving, recognized as intangible cultural heritage — and fine watchmaking, where precision becomes mechanical poetry.

Mokjogakjang, born in temples and traditional Korean homes, gives form to the breath of the living.
Wood is carved with patience, revealed by the hand that listens to its memory.

Soul Alliance

Watchmaking transforms metal into a heartbeat.
It does not merely measure time—it embodies it.

Between these two worlds, Suhoja n°0 takes shape as a work of alliance.
Wood breathes, metal keeps watch.
Tree and time enter into dialogue.

Suhoja n°0 is not a series.
It is a founding intention.
A symbol of connection between cultures, gestures, and materials.

It marks the beginning of a dialogue.
What follows will unfold in respect of time, encounters, and meaning.
